Vita Heathcote
Vita Heathcote is a highly skilled Aural Care specialist, joining the team at Haven Medical Centre. With training completed between 2018 and 2024, Vita has gained a comprehensive understanding of aural health, which includes anatomy, pathology, and infection control, all while developing expertise in using specialised equipment such as otoscopes, microscopes, and micro-suction tools.
Her training includes over 20 hours of theory and shadowing with Susan Lynne Dean at Poole Hospital and more than 20 hours of supervised practical sessions at various clinics. Vita has had the privilege of working alongside the ANP aural care team at Poole Hospital, ENT Consultant Kate Heathcote at Haven Medical Centre, and Susan Lynne Dean at Lymington Hospital. In addition, she has completed 20+ hours of independent practice, solidifying her ability to provide a high standard of care for patients.
Beyond her professional qualifications, Vita brings a unique personal perspective to her role. As a member of Team GB in the recent Summer Olympics, where she competed in sailing, she has proven her ability to perform under pressure and her dedication to excellence, both on and off the water.
Vita works under the supervision of Mrs. Kate Heathcote, our ENT Consultant, and is a valuable asset to the Haven Medical team, dedicated to providing exceptional care in Aural Health.
