Sam Percival
Sam is a Registered Mental Health Nurse with nearly 20 years of experience working in CAMHS. He has a vast amount of experience of working with both young people and their families within an inpatient setting and within the community.
Sam’s expertise currently lies within the assessment processes for both Mental Health conditions and Neurodevelopmental differences, having led Assessment services within the NHS for the past 4 years. He has experience in setting up and managing successful assessment services and is keen to continue to offer outstanding services to young people and their families looking for support.
As well as his passion for his profession, Sam is a dedicated local football coach having spent the last 5 years managing U8s up to U13s. He loves supporting the youth development phase and watching young people thrive in that environment. Sam is an ex-semi-pro footballer who played non-league for some local teams and when he’s able he still plays football, however, it takes a lot longer to recover after a game these days. He also loves spending time with his family and lives every day to the fullest, going for bike rides, spending time on holidays, going to the beach or walking the dog whenever possible.
