Dr Derek Webb
Derek has lived and trained locally since 2005, and initially embarked on a surgical career, completing core surgical training and gaining membership in the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. He subsequently worked as an orthopaedic registrar and in various sports medicine roles before changing direction and qualifying as a GP in 2014. He has been a GP partner locally since 2015.
Derek continues to enjoy using his surgical skills and has been performing non-scalpel vasectomies in the community for over 9 years, performing well over 1200 vasectomies. He audits all of his results and regularly engages in vasectomy conferences and other peer learning events. He is a member of the Association of Surgeons in Primary Care.
Outside of work, he is married with 2 young children, and loves playing and watching most sports!
